Owned and operated by friendly New Zealanders with both local and national travel and tourism knowledge. Your Hanmer Springs experience can begin at reception when you book one of the many Thrill seekers adventures such as Jet boating, Quad biking, Bungee Jumping or maybe river rafting.

Before relaxing at the Thermal Pools opposite us, come and pick up a complimentary towel for your use from our reception.


If you enjoy walking, whether it be a gentle stroll or more vigorus hike, the picturesque Hanmer forest can be accessed from the end of our street.

A continental breakfast can be delivered to you which you are able to enjoy in the privacy of your own room. There are many cafes, bars and restaurants that are within a 2 minute stroll from us. Alpine Lodge Motel also is able to offer you Fast Wireless Broadband or use our guest computer at reception.

We have a great selection of DVDs provided at no extra charge for you to enjoy.
